Live like someone is watching

Live like someone is watching.

When the Sunday service ended, a young girl walked up front, handed me a drawing, smiled, and waited. I thanked her and tucked the paper into my Bible.

This morning, I slowed down, examined the picture, and faced what it meant.
Not glanced—looked.

The details stopped me.
She hadn’t drawn from memory.
She drew from attention.

She was watching closely (the second picture was taken after the service that day).

That’s the obstacle we ignore: we forget our lives are being observed. Not by critics—but by learners. Kids. New believers. People deciding what faith looks like in real time.

Scripture doesn’t leave this optional:
“Watch over your heart with all diligence, for from it flow the springs of life” (Proverbs 4:23).

Guarding requires effort.
 Attention.
Intentional choices.

So respond today like it will be repeated tomorrow.
 Choose actions worth copying.
Live in a way you’d be proud to see drawn.
