The Ravens Aren't Panicking...

Sometimes God asks you to trust Him right when you feel the need for most control.

In Gospel of Luke 12, Jesus points at a bird.

No storehouse. No 401k. No "Plan B." Just creations of a Father who knows they’re hungry.

Then He asks the question that stops us in our tracks: "Which of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?"

Translation: "You are exhausting yourself over things you have zero control over."

Adding one hour to your life is an impossible miracle to you.

But, to God? Jesus calls it a "very little thing."

If the "impossible” to us is a "little thing" to Him... Why are we losing sleep over the "other matters"?

The truth: You aren't a invisible in this world. You are more valuable than the birds God effortlessly feeds.

God didn't just give a command to stop worrying. He gave a privilege.

The privilege of being "significant" enough that the Creator of the Universe will take care of you.

So when the panic rises, We do what is in our power to do. We don't negotiate with the "what-ifs." We don't stay up another hour trying to "fix" the unfixable.

We say, "You see me, Lord. Here are my worries. I am trusting You.”

And then we rest.

Question: What is the heaviest thing that you need to lay first at Jesus' feet?

Consider the ravens.
