Wisdom requires some effort

Most people aren’t confused because truth is hard to find. They’re confused because they don’t pursue it with any urgency.

I see this in my own life when I want clarity from God, but I’m unwilling to slow down, search deeply, or ask hard questions of myself.

When wisdom isn’t pursued, the result is predictable:

shallow decisions, repeated mistakes, and a faith built on convenience instead of conviction.

Scripture makes something clear that we often overlook—wisdom doesn’t drift into your life. It is sought.

Practically, that means:

– listening before reacting

– asking God for understanding instead of just outcomes

– valuing discernment the way we value money, success, or security

When wisdom is pursued, the knowledge of God follows.
