You will never stop them from talking…

If you plan to post anything on social media, you better park your feelings somewhere safe.

If fists could reach through screens, comment sections would look a lot different. But they can’t — and that’s the point.

Distance creates boldness — but it also exposes what’s already inside.

In Luke 7, Jesus addressed the public “reviews” of Him and John the Baptist.

They said John had a demon. They said Jesus was a glutton and a drunk who chose the wrong crowd.

Let’s clear something up:

John did not have a demon. Jesus was sinless.

If they slandered John — whom Jesus called the greatest born of women — and if they slandered Jesus Himself…You will not escape criticism.

Sometimes it will be unfair; sometimes it will be what you need to hear.

So what do we do?

Jesus said, “Wisdom is justified by all her children.”

In other words: God’s wisdom proves itself by its fruit — not by applause.

If someone mocks you for stopping fully at a stop sign…but you avoid getting t-boned by an 18-wheeler…

Was it foolish? Or was it proven right?

In the same way, when you follow God’s wisdom, it may look foolish now, but the fruit will vindicate it.

Here’s the takeaway:

If God has clearly shown you His wisdom in His Word — and confirmed it through godly counsel and godly fruit — speak it.

They will talk. They will label. They will misunderstand.

But wisdom does not rise or fall on comment sections.

It rises on the fruit God brings through obedience.

Let it prove itself — both in what they say…and in how you respond.
